Countryside Properties has announced that it has secured the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) latest home ownership initiative, FirstBuy, an equity loan scheme now available to first time buyers at Copper Wells in Heywood.
The scheme will be available across the stunning selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, forming part of the Government’s commitment to help home buyers enter the property market, as announced in the Budget in March 2011.
Through FirstBuy, eligible first time buyers can purchase 100% of their new property with the assistance of an equity loan of up to 20% of the full purchase price. The loan will be jointly funded by the HCA and Countryside Properties.

Steve Downie, Site Manager at Countryside Properties’ Copper Wells development in Heywood, has been awarded the NHBC ‘Pride in the Job’ Quality Award 2011, an accolade reserved for the UK’s best new-build site managers.
The annual Pride in the Job awards scheme acknowledges the significant contributions of site managers to new build construction, and sees Steve receive the honour for his management of Copper Wells, a collection of traditionally built two, three and four bedroom homes in Heywood.
Standards-setting body for new-build homes, the National House-Building Council (NHBC), recently announced the first round of winning site managers for its annual Pride in the Job Awards, each recognised for their dedication to building outstanding quality new-build homes.
